i like the unwaxes floss. i like flossing a lot but my dentist advised me not to floss always because i just hurt my gums. my teeth are so close that it makes flossing difficult. so dentist said to floss really slow so i need to do it when i have lots of time to focus on flossing. LOL

In theory, unwaxed is better, but studies fail to show statistical difference in the real world. Use the one YOU prefer, because at least then you will actually use it.

Unwaxed grabs food better, so it would have to grab bacteria better. I prefer mint flavored.

actually i am flossing my teeth right now...so weird you asked this question. i am using the floss my dentist gave me it is called "oral satin floss...mint flavor" i like the kinds with flavor too.
i have been trying to get my perfect smile back so far i have got 2 filings and one tooth pulled, one more filling and my teeth will be like new...i have even got them cleaned at dentist last month. so i know what you mean about floss, flavored is best!!!

Did you know that there's a brand called Glide that uses Gore-Tex? But anyway it depends on if your gums are sensitive. If they are then people prefer wax.
