Is your best friend posing as you and then giving out your number? Or just saying its her number? I would call the local police department non-emergency line and ask to talk to a officer. Explain to him whats going on. They usally dont mind listening. Plus he can tell you what u can and cant do about it. I suggest changing you number. If they cant do anything about it at least make sure they make an offical report so you report it. Im sure after so many times they can then do something about it. I know our local police are wonderful when it comes to small stupid things. Good luck!

There is no criminal activity in her giving out your phone number. Sorry. However, if the men from the dating service call you and you tell them to stop and they don't, well then that is harrassment. As was said many posts before this one, best thing to do is change your number and either not give it to your so-called friend or change the number and tell her not to post it like that anymore. Good luck to you.

Do you know it's her? Are you guessing? Ask any callers how they got your number - be pleasant to them and get as much information as possible, get onto the line yourself, learn more about how you register and be sure to give them an opportunity to shut the offender down - barring all of that - lodge a complaint with the Police, but I don't know if you can "prove" who did it.

Change numbers, don't be stubborn, get caller ID refusing unknown or annonymous calls. Keep it simple. Don't let a resentment get the best of you. Keep calm, cool, and collected. Let the law, handle serious crimes.

Who maintains the date line? Call them and make sure they know that your number is being used fraudulently.
