I owned a Camry once. The first week the back door handle fell off. The next week the antenna was gone. The gas milage was horrible. Toyota's in general are great, just try a Corolla or the matrix with the corolla engine. If u are looking for inexpensive--try the yaris.

I'm surprised so many people had bad things to say about it. First of all, the Accord is NOT better. Sorry dude. We've put 118,000 on our 2000 Camry. We expect it to last for many many years to come.

We have never fixed it. It has very good gas mileage for a 6-year-old car. It's a little aged but still very stylish. The interior has great amenities that are too advanced for us stupid Americans. The whole car is just intelligent. I will never buy anything other than a Toyota, especially the Camry for as long as they make them. If you're looking to buy one, I guarantee you'll like it better than the Nissan Altima, Honda Accord, Ford Taurus (stopped making them), Chevy Impala or Malibu, and Hyundai Senata. I think I covered all their competitors.

The company Toyota itself is known for reliability and it gets passed onto their cars. The Camry is benchmark of Toyota and has been one of the most reliable cars to ever be made. The engines are fuel efficient and have a long life to them and are easy to maintain and work on.

They're very reliable fuel efficent vehicles and they offer good performance (even with its 4 cylinder motor), as far as the body styling I prefer the 1997-01 Camry's the best, I didn't care much for the 2002-06 Camry's as far as the body style but I do love the 2007 body styles :)
