My ideas? Try to do 200 minutes of cardio a week. Remember fat does not turn into muscle, so you need to lose your fat while putting on muscle. Work hard, but don't over 60 minutes at a time. Do planks and other abs exercises on alternate days.
On training days, do 5-10 minutes of cardio to warm up, then do your weight training. Do 30 to 60 minutes more of cardio, then go home.
The best time to eat is just after your workout within an hour when your metabolism is raging. For your muscles, incorporate some isolated soy protein or whey protein. Whey is more potent but the soy tastes better!
Don't look at your scale as the be all and end all, but get a measuring tape to check your progress, and that will show more tangible results.
Read magazines like Shape, Womens Fitness, Fitness, etc to get tips and to stay motivated.
Good luck and stick at it. This plan has lost me 20 lbs in 12 weeks so far, just go for it!

trust me honey been there done that... i am 225 plus and some days i hate myself... my hubby did cheat on me once, don't know if it cause of the weight or not, he said i was not girly enough... told him "can't be Girly wearing FAT girl clothes that looks like something granny would buy"
I have learned to just love myself the way i am and if someone doesn't like it F$ck them B@ST@RDS...
I am working on losing weight right now by not drinking as much or even no pop...
pop is my big thing.. so i think if i get over the no pop i will be OK with the other stuff...
look at yourself in the mirror everyday and say
"F@CK THOSE BLOODY B@STARDS! I'M GORGEOUS!!"
I wish I could say i weighed 165... if that helps remember there are those out there that are bigger than you...??

It seems to me that you asked a physiological question but don't want the answer. If I misunderstood, I apologize.
Don't get overly concerned about your weight. Think more about being healthy and looking good. Diet is extremely important. To slim your body you must:
Burn more calories than you eat.
Cut your fat intake.
Eat three cups of fat free low cal yogurt a day (make sure it has live cultures in it) and pineapples. This helps you break down your food.
Do 45-60 min. of aerobic exercise a day (preferably before you eat in the morning). This will attack the fat.
Do 20 min of weight training three times a week. This will build lean muscle which will in turn burn fat.
I lost 40 lbs in two months and have kept it off for two more months doing this. I also took my body fat % from 30% to 14%
Be Blessed

have you talked to a doctor about what your proper weight should be? You may not need to loose but to tone yourself. Larger women can be gorgeous. Monique's beauty pageant proved that. Get a new hair style, new clothing that fits and compliments your frame and size and try using natural makeup. If your doctor says you should loose weight, then start gradually. Begin walking and slowing start to change your eating habits.
Good luck

I respectfully suggest that you, yourself, take measures to reduce at least an amount of weight. You know that it will make you feel so much better and regain self assurance. And I'm not talking crazy, impossible weight programs. Just some activities; only if they just tone your body. The best of luck to you.
