Right now, pinch an inch of your own arm. Pinch it hard for just a second. That's what the shot will feel like. Nothing more. Seriously, turn your fears into strengths by turning scary situations into learning situations. The way I would turn getting a shot into a learning situation is by asking your nurse or doctor to take a moment to show you how to give an injection. Then, be brave (all learning takes bravery) and ask if you can give the shot to yourself with their assistance. Make life fun. Giggle more. Worry less.

Yes, shots in general do hurt a little depending on your pain tolerance. The worst part though is the anticipation as that is what really makes it painful. After the shot, you will likely be asking, "Is that it?" as it will be very quick. The site of the shot will likely be a little sore for a day or two. But overall, still worth getting the shot.

Suspect in case you do cry, you heavily isn't the only lady crying after a shot. Immunizations do experience rather like an insect chew or a pinch. Do circulate the arm approximately precise after the shot. The injectin internet site might get somewhat crimson later, and can prepare a funky fabric. this could be over earlier you recognize it........and undergo in techniques, you do no longer choose rebella.

Yes, needles hurt a bit .Before you go for your immunization, take some tylenol or Advil. (30 min before) This will help with the soreness in the muscles after getting a needle. I did this with my children before they went for their needles. Just relax.

You may die, but there's only a 2.5% chance that'll happen. If you don't die, you'll be fine.
