Simplest and healthiest snack are not gourmet. Fruits and veggies can really hit the spot. My favorites are grapes and bell pepers. If you have a food prossesor, you can make some really great dips with very easy ingredients. Try mixing nuts (cashews, almonds or pinenuts) with a little bit of olive oil and anything to flavor. IE: veggies, basil, cilantro, tahini, fruits.

Hey, I know of a few

Rice cakes- those are good and they come in a ton of different flavors so..you know explore the options.

Special K Bars- I eat those, try the strawberry...kind of sweet but kind of bland...really pretty good and only 90 calories..they have like 6 different flavors of those too

Fruit- Simple sugars are ALWAYS good for you! Normally low in caloric intake and they break down in your digestive system easily.

Baked Chips- I dont know if they have these all over but where I live you can go to the grocery store and buy baked chips..they have Baked Lays...Baked Dorito's...Backed Cheetos...Um...and Im sure alot more..Im a fan of the cheetos...very cheesey and good for you! (at least in a calorie view)

hope I helped

Low sugar/fat dry cereal, trail mix, multigrain crackers, any fruit, grapes, fruit cups, granola bars, yogourt....

Veggies: carrot sticks, celery sticks, green pepper strips, broccoli, cucumber slices. Dip ideas: fat free/low fat cream cheese, hummus (not low fat, but very healthy!), fat free salad dressing (poppy seed is good).

You could also prepare something easy and quick the night before and store in small containers. Whole wheat pasta salad made with fat free Italian dressing. Boil the noodles (fusilli/rotini) and add some frozen veggies to the pot. Coat everything in the dressing - by morning it will have marinated and will taste great!
