I was ready to join the army when i was a kid i already new that's what i wanted infantry jump school 82ND Airborne. That said it is not an easy life by any means there is always going to be challenges ,I think ill include all branches in this it requires great sacrifice on your part to do this thing called the military from joining to training to deployments and yes in some cases the ultimate sacrifice. Its not an easy life but if it was everybody would do it you will suffer pain but that's a small price to pay for the rewards gained from serving i wouldn't trade my time for anything weather army air force marines navy you would be among some of the finest men and women i have ever served with. So make your decision i encourage to make it Good luck and i hope this helps i always look to meeting our brightest and smartest im old

Airforce...definitely. For one thing, in the Army you are infantry first. That means if you've been trained to be a mechanic but there is a need for battle soldiers you could very well be put into the lines. In the Airforce, if you are a mechanic, you stay a mechanic. Of course, if the homeland is invaded we all become line infantry. Even this gray haired old lady:)

I did and don't regret it a bit. I think that the experience of military life is good for young people and you can't go far wrong serving your country. Find a skill that will convert to civilian work well and let the army start you on a career.

you prefer your degree or GED to get something different than infantry, yet why connect the army? you're extra constructive off interior the Air rigidity or army, they a minimum of get a miles better high quality of existence and the coaching will pass to the civilian international extra constructive than "i will shoot cannons"....

I think you should do what makes you feel good. If it feels right to join the military then you should. If you feel that you would rather do something else, then you should. Ain't Freedom grand? Thank a soldier today!

If that's your only option to make a living I would do it. If you have a family and need to provide for them, our buddy W just upped your death benefit to 400,000.
