Because dust particles are laden with bits of things from the atmosphere, absolutely. Dog or cat dander, dead skin cells (your own included) carpet fibers, fabric from an old sweater, towels, paper napkins, and this is infinite. To say nothing of the dust mites that may be living just below the visible surface! Add those altogether, and you have a conglomerate we call dust. Clean your air filters in your heat and A/C regularly, wipe down fan blades, and vacuum your screens on the windows. It will stop overloading your sensitivities so much.

If you mean sneezing and that kind of thing --yes. Whether it will cause an allergy reaction depends on the composition of the dust. If it is in a household with pets, pet dander can cause allergies. Reactions vary from people to people.

1.) Yes to the allergy reaction because it can have many, many diffrent particles. 2.) I've seen skin also have a breakout after being around a dusty inviroment. Take a shower and A.S.A.P. and breath deep while your in there.

It is not the dust itself, but the dust mites that live within the dust and dander that collects in the dust. I have had dust mite allergies all my life. We were told this information by the specialist. (and yes I have asthma too).
