No, in fact, it's unfortunate that some people don't have that feeling more often. It would avert a lot of divorces.
People fall out of love with people and just quit. However, sometimes some relationships could've been salvaged with some communication and maybe some couples therapy.
There are people who try to make things work even though certain individuals are a lost cause. I've been in situations where I had a really bad business partner who was lying, cheating, stealing, and had even gone to jail for fraud.
However, in some perverted way, I was trying to make the business relationship work. I kept on giving him second chances and trying to be positive and make give him the benefit of the doubt in hopes that he'd change.
I'd try to rationalize some of his actions and that maybe the reason why he lies and does all those bad things is because he's under a lot of pressure and stress. Perhaps other people in his position would behave the same way.
This business person I'd work with would lie, lend my things to other people without my permission, and act shady. I'd still try to like him and focus on his charming personality. However, I still wonder if that was my downfall by being too lenient rather than just seeing that he has issues he has to deal with and was unhealthy for me and a liability.
It's really hard when you want something to work with someone, but there's so much stuff in between you two that makes it difficult even though you really want to like that person.

No it isnot weird. Sometimes as we grow our tastes change and what we once liked we no longer like. Dont make your self like him it is not fair to him. You only want to still like him because the changes that have happened in you have not caught up with your mind yet. Once they do you will not even want to like him and it will hurt him. Just let go and move on.

Stop trying to force feelings that just are not there ok. Go with the flow of life and relax a little, don't force things. Then you will understand.

that is not weird at all
i call that ego
thats normal with us women, even though we no longer want the man we still want to keep them dangling for the purpose of fun, men do that too, they have many women but if one of their women starts moving away, they get threatened, like its also territorial.
whenever you get the feeling that you like him guard yourself, you might do something you might regret, stay away from that man , besides you dont really like him

Why do you want to like him? Maybe if you figure that out you can get out of it. Because I have the opposite.. I don't want to like him.... because i know I'm prolly going to get hurt.. but fact is I love him.. so maybe... .. but that is weird.

Listen to your instincts. Not liking him is honest. Wanting to like him despite how your really feel is a futile attempt to impose your conscious feelings on your subconscious ones.

No it's not weird. It just means that he makes you comfortable and you want to have feelings for him but they just aren't there. And it might also mean that you are just afraid of change...

You're more in love with the idea of being in love and not focusing on the person that you want to be in love with.
