I do care about them. Some of them were my friends.

I'll tell you, the best thing you can do for soldiers is to pay your taxes. Your taxes pay our benefits, arm us, equip us, train us, feed us, pay us, protect us, etc. Tax cuts = benefit cuts for the military. If you support the troops then you must oppose tax cuts.

It kills me inside when I hear about any soldier dieing.
There is no words that I can express about my feelings except deep sadness and the feeling of being lost... but the worst feeling is being scared it might be one of my sons that are in the Military. And yes my youngest was hurt in Iraq and he is still hurting.
( My brother-n-law is there now )

And do I support the men and women that are over there.? You bet your a** I do, I try to do all I can by praying, being there for their family that was left behind and by sending care packages when I can.

I think it is a shame that anyone has had to die unnecessarily at the hands of any oppressive regimes around the the world. I feel deeply offended when the country I live in decides that the lives of it citizens are worth less than then there political agendas. They can't seem to even concentrate on the lives of people who are still here and experiencing mother nature's wrath, yet they can get the football stadium up and running......

That was one of the most insane answers i've read on this site. I am a 70% disabled veteran.( Not a joke) more taxes has NEVER translated into better benefits. You want to have more put into vet benefits. lets cut some of the other garbage. how about tying military pay raises to congress's raise. Lets eliminate medicare drug plan, scrap Social Security, Lets cut defence spending by only 5%. tax cuts are needed. but not without major spending cuts.

No, I don't personally know them so I'm not gonna set here and pretend that I care. People die everyday, only when it hits close to home does it effect me. This may sound heartless to some but it's the plain and simple truth.

I support them with my vote, I support their actions. I do not send care packages because my niece who is serving is in Germany. I feel bad for those who have died in this action and I am fortunate that my family is okay.

All Americans care except the war president! The best thing to do is say a little prayer for them!

People who died in Iraq should be investigated if they are entitled to compensation as victims of injustice.
