You're still a bit young, you might have a few more inches to grow....some folks do keep right on growing into their early to mid-20s.

But. Just in case you don't get any taller by the time you turn 21 or 22, say...

Look into yoga. Seriously. Aside from improving your posture and making you *feel* taller, one of the things you learn how to do is to *actively* stand and sit, basically supporting your spine with your body's muscles. Which, depending on how much curvature you have in your upper (sacral) and lower (cervical) spine, can give you an extra 2-3 inches as you stand taller.

Granted, you don't want to flatten out everything. You were born with the lumbar (mid-back) curve and need that one to absorb shocks as you walk. And the more active you are, the more you need to keep the curves of your spine to help your body cope with repeated shocks.

But, if you don't plan on being this huge athlete....look into yoga and see if it can't help you stand a bit taller. :)

Absolutely! Women stop growing between the ages of 16-18, but men can grow right into their early twenties. And if you don't don't sweat it. You don't have to be a basketball player's height to succeed in the world.

My son is in high school and only 49 inches tall. The girls chase him in the corridors. He is smart enough to be getting college credits and will graduate at 17. It's all in the way you view yourself.

Before he met me, my husband had a long relationship with a woman almost a foot taller than he was. Religion, not size broke them up (to my advantage).

What I'm saying is don't sweat your height. Your personality is far more important. If you accept yourself it shows and any woman who who has an ounce of sense will see that. You are what you are. Go for what you want in life in don't size be a determinant.

I don't know. I stopped growing at about age 16! lol I'm female & now 31 yet only 5' 1". People grow at different rates. My grandparents marked my growth along with my cousins & sister. Last year I went to visit their home and there it was right on the wall showing I stopped going at 16. lol

I heard that men usually stop growing by age 21, but probably at age 18, you've already done MOST of your growing.

Since my husband grew another 3 inches after he finished High School, I would say YES! He is now 6'3" and he also "filled out" too. Not in a big fat way just a bigger size man to fit his height. So keep drinking that milk! :)
