CHEF
Hello there, children.

STAN
Hey Chef.

CHEF
How's it goin'?

STAN
Bad.

CHEF
Yeah. Things have been better.

STAN
Why would God let Kenny die, Chef? Why?
Kenny's my fr-f-f-friend. Why can't
God take someone else's f-f-friend?

CHEF
Stan, sometimes God takes those closest
to us, because it makes him feel better
about himself. He is a very vengeful
God, Stan. He's all pissed off about
something we did thousands of years
ago. He just can't get over it, so he doesn't care who he takes. Children, puppies, it don't matter to him, so
long as it makes us sad. Do you understand?

STAN
But then, why does God give us anything
to start with?

CHEF
Well, look at it this way: if you want
to make a baby cry, first you give it
a lollipop. Then you take it away. If
you never give it a lollipop to begin
with, then it would have nothin' to
cry about. That's like God, who gives
us life and love and help just so that
he can tear it all away and make us
cry, so he can drink the sweet milk
of our tears. You see, it's our tears,
Stan, that give God his great power.

STAN
I thnk I understand.

"KENNY DIES"

Given the evidence we are presented with, and the folklore we're forced to accept as evidence, it makes sense.

Don't bring god into it. If you trace the problems in your life back, it won't lead to god. God isn't responsible for anything, the best way to deal with your problems is to discover the real source of the problems. Then resolve them. Yourself. Don't beg for magic to help you. Help yourself.

That is an age-old question which many philosophers have attempted to answer. I am sorry for your pain, and believe me, so many of us have also felt the same way. The only consulation I can offer you is that God gave us free will. And by doing that, we chose the circumstances of our lives well in advance. As in choosing which parents to be born to, choosing when and where to be born, knowing full well what the road ahead was going to be, and why we needed to experience what we did in order for our spiritual development, which, when you're going thru a difficult time sounds like a bunch of garbage or a lame excuse. Last thing you wanna hear is, God never closes one door without opening another, or Gee, if my scumbag husband didn't do to me what he did I would never have the loving man I have now, kind of thing. But eventually, you will say, WOW, you know what? If this or this didn't happen to me, I wouldn't be here now. Corny as it sounds, he is there for you. But like that country western song: "Sometimes I thank God for unanswered prayers."
Trust me when I tell you HE knows what he's doing. We may not, but he does. And your heart will heal. And my prayers are with you.

If you are having a rough go of it, keep believing. God promised He would never leave us nor forsake us. Bad things happen because we live in an imperfect world, but one day He will come back and all those who persevere to the end will live in eternity in perfection.God does hear and answer prayers, but we want the answers NOW!!! Sometimes the answer is; no, sometimes it is wait, and other times He answers right away, but He always hears and answers our prayers. Jesus said "Be of good cheer, in this world you will have troubles, but take heart I have over come the world.". Read your Bible, all the great people of faith had their share of problems. David was chased by Saul, who tried to kill him, Joesph was sold into slavery and then thrown into prison for 13 years for something he didn't do. And Jesus was beaten and then crucified, even though He was a sinless man. I could go on ,but you get the idea. This world is temporary,Heaven is our home. And there everything will be perfect, He promised!!!

I believe that God loves us so much why? because he sent his ONLY son to die for our sins so that we could have everlasting life.
He allows bad things or how you put it horrible things to happen cause he knows us and how much we can endure.
It's a war and it's bigger than us ...we get affliced because the enemy knows that we believe in our Lord. and we have trails in our lives because Sometimes there are lesson for us to develop into becoming better witness for him or just to prove to the devil that we are faithful to God no matter what ...If we are not trained to deal with everyday situations how can we deal against the devil himself or help others. Isn't that why we are christians to say i'm a follower of God and no matter what the devils does we would stay strong in our faith.

I have gone through tough times were i have felt the same way you have and He's silent and wonder if he can't hear my heart breaking and do Something about it. But by waiting the true picture reveals itself all the time .........and I realised that he never leaves us alone.
don't be discourage He's with you and loves you .... test your faith and don't give up. I'll keep you in my prayers and what ever you are going through ....you are not alone....

As a Christian myself I think we all have felt like this one time or another. When things go bad we feel that the Lord has forgotten us, and we feel all alone with our pain. But we are NOT alone, God is always right beside you waiting for you to take his hand. Some Christian don't go through terrible things & it makes us feel as if maybe we have done something wrong & we are being punished. I was diagnoised with a brain tumor awhile back & had to have surgery, then later another tumor, 3 months later another tumor, 2 months later my mom died. I'm not telling you this for sympaty, but to let you know things do happen to Christians. I never thought God had forgotten me, or was even angery with Him. God ALWAYS answers prayer, sometimes it's just not when or what we want to hear. I'll pray for you. You'll get better, just trust in the Lord will all your heart & soul.
Lord your you

Now you know why Catholics ask the Saints and Mary to intercede for them. Sometimes this is what is being learned by the person. The Communion of Saints is a very powerful thing. Mary is a good Mother. If you asked she would intercede for you. God said "You must become like little children The Kingdom of Heaven is for them" What little child does not need their Mother. I have to add something here. I remember a time when I was complaining to God about my finances and would he help me with them and at the time I smoked and all of a sudden out of the blue I heard "You do not need my help with finances because you have money to burn!" Well, I quit smoking and realized he was right. He does answer prayers but, sometimes the answer is NO. We just have to analyze our life and make sure that what we are asking for is still doing his will. Also, they say that God never gives us more than we can handle but, I tend to think he does because if we can't handle it he knows we must depend on him and this is an important lesson for us. You are exactly what he was talking about when he said " Blessed are the Poor in spirit...."

Gold does not become it's most valuable until it has been put through the fire. Much the same can be said for people. You will continually be put through the fire until all of your impurities have been melted down. Trials are a necessary evil. God hears your prayers and answers them. The problem is, sometimes we either do not hear his answer or we do not like what we are told. I pray that God will manifest his greatness in your life and restore your faith. I have been there too and I know how it feels to question God. He is there though, holding your hand and trying to lead you out of your troubles, you just have to let go and let Him lead.

Satan has been given a chance to prove 2 things to men and angels:
1.) That men can rule themselves without God and
2.) That men only serve God out of selfishness because they are blessed and protected when they do.
It is God's wish that these things be settled once and for always and because he knows that he can correct all the bad effects of this time of allowing Satan to mislead the earth, he is allowing this time to pass without interference. If he stopped the bad things from happening as a result of Satan's failure to prove his point, he would actually be helping Satan to prove his point. That would be really bad in the long run. Our decision has to be,
1.) Do we believe that the creator of heaven and earth, the originator of all love and goodness, peace and mercy and justice should have the absolute right to rule over his creation??? and
2.) Will we only serve God if he gives us good things and helps us or do we love him no matter what because he created us and knows what's best for us and because we know his motives have to be good even if we don't understand them right now??
Remember, that these are the things that Job had to deal with. Satan and the demons are all here on earth. The angels in heaven are going back and forth and watching all the things we do and listening to all we say. Can you endure to the end??

God loves us and lets problems come into our lives for our own growth and so we can learn by them.. Everybody has problems but only Christians have a God that says
Romans 8:28 he will work everything for our good.
He is hearing your prayers and you need to read your Bible and have confidence that all of this will work out for your good..
Your feelings are one thing and the promises of God are true and he will do what he has promised..

I feel for you and know it is not easy when it seems our prayers are bouncing off the ceiling. But know that God has not moved, He is right where He always was and is. If you are a believer, He hears your prayers, but He may be waiting to move for His reasons. Remain faithful and do not give up or give in. If you are a believer, know that you are His child, and He is responsible for you. Trust Him in this, knowing that it is the hard times, the fiery furnaces, that get rid of the junk and leaves us refined like gold.

Remember that God allowed Daniel to be thrown into the lion's den, and he allowed Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego to be thrown into a furnace. But he also stayed with them and kept them safe. Early Christians died by the thousands, yet he gives them back eternal peace. Our suffering should produce a stronger faith if we simply trust God and hold close to him. When you pray are you asking God to get you out of a situation or to be with you in that situation. It is an important difference. It may well be that you need to be there to be a blessing to another. If that is the case, you should thank God for the opportunity in front of you. Easier said than done, I know. Anyway, my point is to find joy in the fact that you are suffering. You have unique opportunities and can come through this with a stronger faith. Hold on to God.
