Well, I guess we will see if all those people who have been complaining about the illeagles taking all the jobs show up. My guess is a large number of them won't, because either the work is too hard or it was just an excuse. I only say that illeagles come here and they somehow manage to find jobs that our own people didn't want to do before they got here, so it's not like our people didn't have a chance at getting the job.

It isn't a Berlin style wall. It is a Hadrian style wall. In fact it has a hole in it to let a Native American reservation that spans the border keep free passage - although those Native Americans have asked at least for vehicle barriers because their land is getting so trashed by illegals.
If we separated the halves of the Native American territory with a wall against their wishes, THAT would be a Berlin style wall.

Berlin style wall, now that is funny. I would think that an extraordinary contractor or construction company would see this as a great business opportunity to get Americans to favor their company by providing Americans and legal immigrants the opportunity to build the WALL and discredit the illegal aliens when doing so. The person or persons who does this would be far beyond wealthy too.. The American dream baby, live it and learn it.

Well, if we were in Berlin, I guess it would be Germans. Since we are in the United States SECURING OUR BORDERS AGAINST HABITUAL CRIMINALS, I would say Americans, since I doubt illegals are going to want to help build a wall that keeps all their relatives out, or makes them cross a more dangerous route in the desert. God forbid they use their coyote money to get a visa and have some respect for our laws.
To gimpalong- I saw them building it on the news today. It looks beautiful.

If you stop illegal immigration, it will be a lot easier to allow more LEGAL immigrants into the country.
And building a fence on the border is NOTHING like the Berlin Wall. Study some history before you start opening your mouth. You have a right to freedom of speech, and a social responsibility to speak accurately.

Building the wall is no big deal, it is the continuing thought of how we can keep them from digging tunnels underneath the damned thing. We will need piles driven down thirty feet into the ground. Good grief, Berlin style. It is gonna have to do better then that old relic.

Number 1, if we took the position when an illegal crosses the border he goes to jail for 6 months, then is deported rather than letting him/her work and make a living, we would not have the problem. We will build the wall. Why, because its the only choice we have.

The Berlin Wall was for keeping Germans in. If we build a wall it will be to keep illegal immigrants out.

Why would we want the wall to be built by illegals, anyways? I wouldn't trust them to do a "good" job - would you? How idiotic! Would you let prisoners build the prison that you were going to incarcerate them in? And, I won't bother to contradict your "Berlin-style wall" statement, since others here have done a good enough job of that.
