Not a stupid question at all! Industrial arts pertain to courses in the methods of using tools and machinery as taught in secondary schools and technical schools.

I think its making things out of wood and plexiglass and stuff. When I took industrial arts, we were making things like out of wood and measuring things a lot. I think it's just another way to say useful art, in my opinion.

The politically correct way of saying (what we called) "shop class." It's learning how to use tools, saws, that sort of stuff - at least it WAS - but I'm OLD!
