I did a pregnancy test this morning because i had sore nipples and ive been tired all week and i havent had a full period since the middle of july. It says on the pack that you shouldnt have sex for 7 days before taking the test but i did last night. The result was negative and i was just wondering if the result could be wrong?

Wow !! i am going thur the same thing no period since july and took 4 preg. test but all neg. But i have an appt. on friday . I would suggest u make an appt. 2 Also not all test r right it can also be that ur hormone pregnancy levels are not high enough to be detectide in ur urine!! (from what my doc. said on the phone) Good Luck !!

I never heard of that because on pregnancy tests. The test has to do with the HCG hormone being detected in your urine. I don't think having sex will affect that. Which brand did you buy? I would check with your doctor to be sure if you are pregnant or not. No period since July....you could very well be pregnant. I'd also try another test that doesn't say anything about sex. If you had sex last night and took the test knowing that it said that it would cause problems if you had sex within 7 days then it stands to reason you could have gotten a negative. And if you haven't had a period since mid July you should have gone to the doctor by now. You are close to being done with your 1st trimester and will be moving into your second trimester shortly.
Go see a doctor for your baby's sake and yours.

Home tests can always be wrong, but most of the time they are right on. To be sure, go to a doctor and get a blood test done. That one is 100% sure.

honey no means no if you were pregnant your hormone would show up in your pee u r not pregnant .but if u had sex in the last week i sure hope u used protection
