How do you give a guy a promise ring... or can you even give them one?

It's okay to give a guy a promise ring. Just make sure that he's the type that would appreciate it. Maybe you could tell him it would be okay if he wore it on a chain around his neck...
Don't listen to these people bashing you. I'd love something from the heart like that.

People used to not think this was a good idea, but its a really good one! If you really feel this way about a guy, do it. you can get one at Jewry stores and they give you a warrenty, so the guy can have it sized, cleaned, and taken care of if anything happens to it for free.
I think this is a great idea, some guys dont know when is the right time to let you know they really mean they want to be with you forever. If u do this, he will know you are serious, and be much more confident in the relationship.
But... one thing to think of, is whether he will want to wear a ring or not. some guys hate wearing it.

Yes you can give them if you really care about the person. My boyfriend gave me one, at that time we have been together for a year. I remember when he gave it to me he was saying how much i mean to him, and that he cared for me alot. So i accepted the ring, then i told him that i loved him. So now we have been together for 3 yrs and 7 months, now im just waiting for him to replace it with a engagement ring! So anyways i think promise rings are very romantic, im sure he will love it. sure you can give a guy a promise ring. just tell the guy that you really care about him and you want him to have something that will show him that you aren't wanting to be with anyone but him and tell him that the ring means that you won't cheat on him and that you love him

but you buy it at jewlery retailstore and have it custom fit to the
right size

sure u can give a guy one! A REAL man would love to receive one! Maybe give it to him on sweetest day and tell him it represents ur faithfulness and love for him...any guy would love that! Maybe make it a thumb ring or something....
