Yes ! and what kind of Bass ? still yes, if there is no advisories against it. Black Bass ( Large Mouth, Small Mouth, Spotted Bass) are better eating the smaller they are, but over the legal limit. Meaning legal limit in most states is 12" unless other wise posted. A 12" bass will taste a lot better than a 20" bass, in the black bass family.

Quite obviously by now you realise that yes bass can be consumed. But take care in where you catch them. There are thousands of small lakes and retention ponds across the country that contain high levels of chemicals from run off. These chemicals build up in the fishes tissues and if eaten can have serious side effects to the consumer.

O' yea you can eat Bass. It's OK I prefer Crappie or Bluegill and I only eat fresh water fish out of cold water, they just taste better. Try and keep them alive right up until it's time to cook them the fresher the better. It still beats anything frozen from you grocer.

Of course. I enjoy eating large mouth bass, but my favorite fish to eat are small bream, the smaller the better the meat. My sister and I fight over them. Our kids also love fresh water fish.
My 7 year old daughter also likes to eat sardines.
