I have my mind set of a tiffany ring. I plan on spending around 15k for the ring. but then i got this great idea...would it be romantic to buy my gf a vintage tiffany ring from the 1920's? shes loves tiffany and the history with the company...would that be romantic? btw, the vintage ring is about 23k

Sure sounds like it. If you really love your gf, go ahead and do so. Show her you care. It sounds like she would really love it. She is probably worth that much money, even more to you. So I say go ahead and do what you'd like. If you want to do vintage, go right ahead. We on yahoo answers may not be her, so we cannot give you her opinion.

Unless the ring is to be a surprise, why don't you take her ring shopping and see what her taste in rings is.

That would be a great idea, if you don't mind forking up the extra cash.
