i'm 15 and so is he. so whenever we were in history class last year, he kepton asking me how the tests went for me.. but then when we get them back he braged that he got A's. And then on the street, he randomly called out my name, and started asking me if i knew for the final would be graded. i mean hello!! do i look like the teacher?? I never gave my name to him and his friends don't know me. he was in the history class after mine.. so he couldn't have known my name from class.
my friend says he's not shy at all.. so if he liked me.. wouldn't he have already asked me out?
so this year we have a class together, but it's been 4 weeks and he hasn't said anything. nonetheless, i find him staring at me all the time. what does he want?

He probably heard your name during roll call or when your friends said it in class or something. Stop overanalyzing it. He kept asking you about the tests and things in history class because he wanted to talk to you and this is the only thing you guys had in common! He was trying to strike up a conversation, even if it was over a test you guys had just taken. And I think now he is tired of waiting for you to make a move, express interest in him (i.e. talk back, initiate conversations, etc.), so he gave up. He probably hasn't said anything so far because he isn't sure if you remember him or even want to talk to him. So just go talk to him already.

he is probably more shy around you, if he likes you. Thats why your friend doesnt think he is shy. Most likely he isnt a shy person in general, just when he is around you. If you will notice, he does communicate with you, but only about a test, and that is because he does good on those test, so he feels comfortable on that topic. And for now, just that topic.

He's 15 so probably isn't as girl-crazy (yet) as you are boy-crazy. But it sounds like he IS interested in you...but doesn't know what to do about it exactly...so he acts goofy...boys at that age usually don't have the dating sophistication that girls that age would like them to have! But take it from an ex-teenager, if "IT" is meant to happen, it'll happen without you stressing over it. In the meantime have fun and enjoy life!!! :^)
