There's this girl at my school that I know and I;m pretty damn sure she likes me. She stares at me during class A LOT and she'll come up to me after lunch to ask what the homework was for the bell before it(even though she knows what it is). So I know she likes me, but the other day on the bus I asked her if she liked me. Before when I was getting ready to ask it it's like she knew what I was going to ask and kept saying "Hey I forgot something I have to tell you umm... umm.." and she was trying to avoid me asking it. Then I asked it and she said "Kinda sorta maybe" Then I got off the bus and said "Well I like you". Ever since then she hasnt been talking to me that much. And when we do tlak its as if she doesn't even remember what I said that day! But she still stares at me in class. I need help plz. BTW I do know this girl and we are friends.

She's nervous, thats all. Now that its out of the bag that she does like you, she doesnt know how to act. More than likely, she's worried that your looking at her differently since you know that she likes you and doesnt know how to act around u now.

She is probably just scared and doesn't know what her next move is...maybe she has never had a bf before and is nervous and if she has, then she probably wants you to make the first move in asking her out or something...you need some alone time with her.

that is not mean if any gals stare at u..means she like u..
maybe something is not rite bout you to her eyes..(i guess)
anyway if u have the same feeling on her..just tell her talk to her face by face..maybe can solved out what the problem..
maybe she too shy when u just straight forward tell her that u like her..anyway all the best..

She diggs you but she is shy. That is the type that YOU would have to take that extra push to make something out of it..I used to be that shy girl and i wouldnt openly admit that i liked a guy but i would look at him and make stupid small talk..so go get her!!!

seems like when you asked her that she was then expecting you to admit the same to her, and since you are continueing like you have nothing to say on the matter she probably is trying to distance herself from you cuz she feels dumb. esp. now that u know

I think you may have slightly freaked her out. She still likes you, no doubt, and she'll come around.
