he may not look you directly in the eye when speaking to you, make subtly movements with his feet or hands, seem to constantly be moving like he cant stop figiting w/ things. he may also want you to compete w/him on things he is good at . my now boyfriend always tried to get me into conversations w.him on topics he new a great deal about and play pool, that way he knew he was good in both and could let me win if he needed too.

Eye contact. Putting his hand infront of his face, scratching his head, anything to draw attention away from or cover his face. Looking down at the ground. Crossing his arms. Constantly shifting postitions as he sits. Looking away. Those are pretty subtle but I guess they're kinda obvious too.
You shouldn't have a problem knowing whether or not a guy is nervous. They seem to make it pretty obvious.

Hard time speaking with you and does not want to look you in the eyes. Those are two things that I think I do.

If he hesitates when thinking of things to say to you, stares at his feet, blushes when you come over to talk to him, if you catch him staring at you from across the room, if he ever emails or calls or ims for simple questions on school or something you're both involved in.

He will be more quiet around you. He is more relaxed when you are not in the immediate area. His voice has more volume when he is not near you. He might pause before he answers your question...or he might fumble with words as he tries to answer your questions. He is not as confident with you as he is with others.
