My ideas? Try to do 200 minutes of cardio a week. Remember fat does not turn into muscle, so you need to lose your fat while putting on muscle. Work hard, but don't over 60 minutes at a time. Do planks and other abs exercises on alternate days.
On training days, do 5-10 minutes of cardio to warm up, then do your weight training. Do 30 to 60 minutes more of cardio, then go home.
The best time to eat is just after your workout within an hour when your metabolism is raging. For your muscles, incorporate some isolated soy protein or whey protein. Whey is more potent but the soy tastes better!
Don't look at your scale as the be all and end all, but get a measuring tape to check your progress, and that will show more tangible results.
Read magazines like Shape, Womens Fitness, Fitness, etc to get tips and to stay motivated.
Good luck and stick at it. This plan has lost me 20 lbs in 12 weeks so far, just go for it!

To lose weight, a person has to reduce the calorie intake by some amount by modifying their diet. A diet without sufficient nutrients will only increase the appetite of the person trying to lose weight. Since most people combine a diet with an exercise plan, additional nutrients are required for the growth of muscles required to increase the metabolic rate required for long term weight loss. quickest way would be to pass to the well-being center. no longer something extra effective, you will lose those extra pounds, and be extra healthful, and arranged for the summer season. Get a private coach nevertheless.. or you're able to desire to wreck your self on the well-being center. Or if that doesnt sound sturdy, you're able to desire to constantly attempt to get a nutritionist who provide you an in intensity plan on what you're able to, and should no longer eat.. yet usually you go with 5-6 nutrients an afternoon, Breakfest, Snack, Lunch, Snack, Dinner ... Snacks could constantly be the two healthful nuts, or fruit ( the extra you eat the extra fat you lose.. Ironic huh?) i won't provide you a foodstuff plan, provided that i'm no longer a nutritionist.. yet like i mentioned, Going to the well-being center, or the nutritionist ( or the two) would be an mind-blowing help.. and you will attain your aims by making use of summer season :)

Keep active.
Try working out indoors.
I use a treadmill, but before that, I ran whenever it was over 35 degrees and under 95 degrees.
And remember there are only 4 eating holidays in the winter.
Thanksgiving
Christmas Eve
Christmas
New Years.

I've struggled with it before because it always seems like I would rather curl up with a warm blanket, comfort food and good book in the wintertime. But it is possible.
I've heard that it's difficult to be active in winter because we humans have an instinct to "hibernate" just like most other animals. I could be wrong on that, but it sounds like a good excuse for me to use when I don't feel like going to the community center to walk or swim. :)

Keep active like in the summer (maybe going to the gym during bad weather, or doing something outside if you like sports) and making an effort to eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetables like in the warmer months.

If you are serious about losing weight, the calories in the food you eat should be less than the energy you use. You will have to increase your metabolic rate, and plan your diet carefully. Formulate your own weight loss plan and you will lose weight faster. More details available at http://tinyurl.com/m7ckx

You can work out, run on the treadmill, etc.
Winter has many holidays involving eating like Christmas, Halloween, and Thanksgiving so don't eat too much of that!
A steady diet and exercise is all you need.

Actually you can lose even more during the winter. One reason is that you burn more calories - your body burns them in order to keep warm.
So do more out door activities. And basically keep exercising and your dieting.

Yes, as long as "people" don't eat like bears as though they are trying to hibernate.
