I asked out this guy and he wasn't sure he could make the date because of car trouble. The next monday he told me he was sorry he couldn't make it and then asked me out on a second date. I gave him my phone number and told him to call me.
For the past 2 days he didn't talk to me or smile or anything. which is different because he'd smile every single time I saw him
after lunch when I saw him and asked him why he didn't call. He told me he was sorry and he already had a date to homecoming, which is weird because i never asked him to homecoming, but that question would have come up soon.
So what's the deal?
In the way beginning before we ever even met he'd be looking at me and flirt and he was the first one to talk to me. And now that he would have had the chance to get to know me, he totally blows me off and goes with another girl.
My question is, is there something wrong with me or is he just stupid like every other guy on this planet?

when he had car trouble he had girl trouble so don't trip off of him move on cause if it was meant to be you would be together so thank God for the other girl and when he come back to flirt with you ignore him good luck

As a guy, answering your question, I will say that he was stupid, in not getting to know you. Guys and girls all play the same game, but at different stages. They like to see how many of the opposite sex, that they can attract, but aren't at that point willing to go any farther. This is usually because they are scared of a relationship. Give life some time, and you will find that many people will want to know you, and someone special will get to know you better than anyone else.

Girl, guys are complicated and if you try to guess what's going on in their heads you'll drive yourself crazy....So just forget this loser and move on......He was just playing around, he probably wanted to prove to himself or someone that he is capable of making a girl fall for him...And yes "most" guys in this planet are stupid, as sad as it might be......it's true! Some guys are stupid, but you gotta play their game right. Play Hard to get. Guys like a challenge, dont make yourself so avaliable to easy, make him work to have you. Thats probrally what happened, he liked you, but since you asked him out he knew you were something that he could get easily, and he probally went for the girl that he had to make an effort to go out with. So next time make yourself hard to get.

It probably has nothing to do with you, he probably does have interest in you, he may just have begun in a relationship with this other girl, the same time you two were just about to hit it off, so just forget about him for now, and find yourself a new interest.

this is classic example of what each of us went thru. he admired your exterior physical appearance first and took a while to absorb imagry and now he spoke with you....he got turned off. it happens. move on to next nice young man
