getting rest when your body needs it, don't get into the habit of stimulants for studying. Figure out what you can do without to get more time for studying. A good nights rest is the best for staying awake and alert.

You could take some sort of pep pill but that would eventually make you even more tired so if I were you I would ty to get in a good sleep habit and then you will have plenty of time to do things.

try to study early if you can. Don't leave it til last minute to cram. Try to go to a coffee place with friends.. try to study with friends.. and never ever study when you're on your bed..... last time i did that i fell asleep! be careful though coffee and soda isn't good for the heart. goodluck and stay away from drugs!

Stand up at your desk. Pace the hallway while reading. Bounce in your chair or do other excercises. Just stay moving. Do not allow your body to settle into a relaxed position.

some type of exercise for 15 minutes or so - breaking a little sweat should buy u 2 or 3 hours of alertness

Try eating Apples. I've always been told that helps wake you up more than coffee.

Refresh yourself by taking a 15-minute nap. Make sure you set an alarm first. You will be amazed!

Exercise helps, but ultimately you do have to get a normal amount of sleep--depriving yourself of it can cause problems over the long term, not to mention what it does to your grades!

dont!! power nap for about 20 minutes, it makes a world of difference.
Sleep deprivation is a form of torture . . .
