for a full litter of pups, expect to pay UPTO 3000 dpending on the breed and what shots and when and how soon the pups will be purchased. Expect at least 125 per pup for the first set of shots and 70-100 for the second set. If the vet requests a third set, somewhere between 30-70. Registering depends on what agency you register them with.

Newborn pups will need DHLPP vaccinations at 6 weeks, 8 weeks, and 12 weeks, and then will need a rabies vaccination at 16 weeks.

Vets do charge for these -- anywhere from $14 to $35 a shot depending on where you get them and who does it. (Usually the offices charge more if a licensed vet gives the vaccinations, and less if a vet tech gives them.) Keep an eye out for "vaccination clinics" in your area. These are events dring which local vets offer shots at a reduced cost for a single day.

I don't know where you live but look on the web or in your local phone book for low cost shot clinics. You pay about 1/2 what you would if you made a appointment w/your vet and you don't pay the vets fee, you get the same medications but you usually stand in line a bit. You could also call your local pets mart if they have that where you live. Good luck w/your pups.

There are many different types of injection you can give your dogs. Call you vet to ask for the types, also ask for the charges.
