Absolutely not. I was 28 when I started dating a 19 year old. It was the best relationship I ever had. Almost 3 years together without a single fight. Unfortunately we split up, but we're still good friends. Remember age is not an indicator of compatibility, personality is. Besides when they are younger, they are less likely to be "programmed" by exes. It's great, ENJOY!

To be a junior in highshcool you sure have a lot of growing up to do. How can we or anyone else tell you who to like or dislike? You can't just turn your feelings for someone off or on like a light switch. As you grow older you will come to realize two years isn't really much of a difference at all, however, at your present age your peers may have some issues with it. The real question is whether or not you can withstand the ribbing you are going to get from your friends. That's something only you yourself can answer. Because for awhile you will be teased and ridiculed. However, he on the other hand, will be admired and worshipped for the stud he is. Peace and God bless.

If you care about this guy don't let age be an obstacle....cause it isn't......If you really care about someone things like those don't really matter....But of course you have to make sure if that guy feels the same way about you or if he has a problem with the age difference cause some guys don't feel comfortable dating girls older than them, but some do.....So just find out, and see what happens!! Good Luck

I like a few guys 1 year younger... but two or three years difference is way too much right now because you are both at really different stages and maturaty... you probably wouldn't work out. But lol when you are both adults and done growing & maturing age doesn't matter anymore.

Shouldn't matter... You both are close enough in age that it really doesn't matter... You have the rest of this year and next to be together if it lasted that long and then who knows.... Test the waters, see if he likes you too.

All my girlfriends have been about 4 or 5 years older than me... It's just all about different levels of maturity! Go for it!
