You may be able to get one from county social services. Tell them VA denied. Also they used to advertise "Miracle ear" hearing aids for $35.00

Ask the VA what you options might be? I don't understand why the VA won't help you if your deafness is treatable and significant enough to warrant a hearing aid.

There is an organization that collects hearing aids to distribute to those who cannot afford the. Try searching under donate hearing aids.
Also, if you can prove you lost your hearing in the service, something does not sound right here. You should appeal that decision.

That is sad, im glad you helped the country, they should have helped you. As for the hearing aids, im not really sure, do you have insurance? Might have to go on google and do a little research if nobody finds a answer.
