we would have the same problem with them? It just so happens that Mexico borders us. That's why the focus is on Mexicans. But you know that we wouyld have the same problem if we were bordered by other POOR countries. Are they are just doing what anyone would do in the same situation?

Most likely it would be the same. For example, Guademalan people illegally enter MEXICO!

There are many more poor countries than Mexico, yet I watched a program where most Mexicans expressed the sentiment that they should get special treatment for immigration. If 57% of illegals were African or Asian, I highly doubt Mexicans(currently the 57%) would feel the same way. I didn't see any of them protesting to get more Rwandans fleeing genocide into the United States, did you? Those people were dying because of a designation on their documents. They were killing children, little babies. No one did anything to save them. Some people don't even know it happened. It isn't about humanity or the poor people of the world, it's about what nationality those people are. If it was anyone else in the majority, most of these people wouldn't give a damn and they know it.

Yes, I believe you are right. However, like every other country that has problems with illegal immigration, we also have the duty and the right to do what we can to stop illegal immigration because it is economically and socially devastating to our country. Illegal immigrants are typically the poorest and most uneducated group from any country. Taking on the poorest and most uneducated peoples from other countries in the flood that the USA are having today is suicide to our standard of living and to our future generations. That is why we need to have monitored immigration only, where we pick and choose the immigrants we want and with the skills we need. Otherwise, we end up with all the poorest, most uneducated immigrants who take much more from our economy than they contribute and if left unchecked, our country would eventually become a third world country like those in Central America. (Mexico, however, is not classified as a third world country - we should remember that, because they are the 10th richest country in the world. However, they have a far higher ratio of poor people to rich than most developed countries because of their government being so corrupt and not looking after their own poor.)

Of course. It's a universal pattern for people to try to escape extreme poverty by crossing borders. North Koreans cross over into China, Filipinos go to Arab states, and Mexicans come to America. Change the geography around and the same things would happen, just in a different order.

India and Africa aren't as corrupt as Mexico so I doubt they would be wetbackin it over here. I doubt their country would be unloading it's poor to another country. Does it happen now with countries that border India and Africa...no.

yeah, but if it were another country they would find racist terms to use on its people anyway... so it's not about race, but it still leads to racism (or provides an excuse for racism)
