What do you think Jesus would be like as a person in the modern world?

Good question. Anne Rice wrote some books about Jesus as a young boy. He didnt know who He was, but He knew something was up. At first glance, it may seem that Jesus would be thought of as quite a goon, and treated poorly by the establishment. But that happened anyhow. He was, however, God incarnate, so He commanded authority we can never know, and that must've come off him in some serious God vibes. So, that is why so many followed Him. He would probably be a jew still, since Israel is God's chosen. But His second coming will not be so subtle. That is going to be seen and known by everyone. 'Every knee shall bow, every tongue confess'. The confess doesn't mean confess wrongdoing, it means every tongue will acknowledge their Creator. But I dont think you were asking about the second coming.

YES.
Many believe that to be Jesus, you would need to BE JESUS.
Jesus when he walked on earth as man was humble, and teaching the love and forgiveness of God.
Inside Jesus was the Spirit and Holy Ghost of God.
Through Jesus, the Christ was able to show, and teach man what God had planned for man.
It is possible to be a man like Jesus, and even just like Jesus himself.
"If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can do what I do and more"
The only thing not possible, is to be born through a virgin again unless you are a test tube baby.

Well, if you study Bible with sincere heart and you let Holy Spirit guide you...You are going to know when you are with God.

The ible prophecy narrowed down the country of Messiah, the town, description of the mother...well, I do not know how many virgins we have these days..and they do not crucify people anymore either...

But many people lived then when Jesus was with them...and they did not know they were with God...because we can be so wrapped up with our own lives and beliefs that we really do not see the truth where it is.We accept secondary thurths, half truths...and our friends and family and our professors and teachers and neighbors are sometimes more important source of wisdom than the Holy Bible.

More than likely he or she will be some obscure Hindi or Budhist or a young rabbi in Israel whose message will be about peace and equality and non-violence. No one will pay the slightest attention. except perhaps a few dedicated followers. That is, until the media hear about this "messiah." Or he or she gets enough followers to persuade some mainstream religious nut to try to kill him or her. Then this Jesus' message will be distorted by those who tell the story of his life until someone makes a movie that depicts him or her as a secret drug addict or a pedophile or an embezzler or something and that will most likely be the end of it.

I think someone would know if they were the Son of God, the question is, can they convince others, like Jesus did in his time?

I believe if he were around he would be working in groups like Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, and so forth. Of course, he would also be spreading his word.

I think He would be born with questionable immigration status. He was a refugee in Egypt for part of his childhood. But Jesus knew as a 12 year old boy that the Jewish Temple was His Father`s house...

Your ignorance is showing. I wonder if people would have worse dog-fits than they already do if Jesus was walking around in our 'modern world' right now and they knew it?

It is not possible to be Jesus and not know it.

But to play along with this. Jesus in this modern world, would not war or santion war. He didn't then, he wouldn't now.

He did not celebrate the pagan roman holidays. He didn't then, he wouldn't now.

He was not political. He wasn't then, he wouldn't now.

He hated false religious leaders. He did then, he would now.

I don't think I'm Jesus, but I think probably he would be a very charismatic preacher in a small country church. This church would grow in members because people would hear about this dynamic young man preaching to people's hearts.

Not a chance Jesus is dead has been for 2000 years, and no he has not resurrected and he will not be back, sorry to bust your bubble, lets just say he could come back and if he did he would suffer the same fate David Koresh did.
