My step dad gave me a car and i signed the title? I never drove it or put it on the road and I want to sell it. The title has his signature as the seller and mine as the buyer. What do I have to do to sell the car to someone else

Go to the DMV and transfer the ownership to ypur name, and then you will get a new ownership paper, then you sign it over to the other buyer

By law, you must transfer the title as it is and then transfer it to the new buyer. It would have been different and easier if you had not signed it.
However, with the correct way, you will get the money from the car in your name and you can cash the check, not your stepdad.
