First of all, other countries DO have racism problems. No matter what country you go to, there will always be a certain group of people thinking they're better than another (whether they're right or wrong). Secondly, the Mexican immigration issue IS NOT a racism issue -- it's a LEGAL issue. If I break the law and get called on the carpet for it, am I supposed to jump up and down throwing a tantrum and screaming that they're calling me out on it because I'm white? Should all of the white people in the country get together and march because I'm being forced to pay a parking ticket? Everyone listen very, very closely... If you do something wrong and you are forced to face the consequences, it has nothing to do with whether you're black, brown, white, yellow, purple, green or turquoise. IT'S BECAUSE YOU BROKE THE LAW! How hard is that to understand?

You are mistaken. Immigrants in other countries face plenty of racism. Both Chinese immigrants in Southeast Asia and Jewish immigrants in Eastern Europe faced pogroms and discrimination.
Even the Mexican government treats immigrants of non-Mexican descent in a discriminatory manner. Check out the bottom link below.

Because Mexicans are very ethnocentric and think they are the center of the universe, and that every thing about them and their culture is better than anyone else's . It is normal to feel national pride, but the majority of people that come here from other countries feel that back home ain't so good, that's why we are here,while Mexicans tend to ignore this fact. Immigrants that accept America as their new country and look at our place of origin as the old country, in time become part of America's mainstream society, while people that do not want to accept America as their new country put themselves on the fringes of society.

Maybe because people from other countries don't come in huge numbers and demand that we change our country to fit what they want. People from other countries also don't form their own colonies here and elect race based leaders.
I am yet to read about what the Finnish or Icelandish American community thinks about different issues or see up a white immigrant advocacy group. The Dutch and German radio and tv stations are also silent on issues.

They do, just listen to anyone from the UK or Australia. They have illegal immigrants just like the USA does and are having the same or similar problems. Also, you hear people from Canada complain about the illegal immigrants there.

I don't see English,German,African,Asian,Cuban,Honduran, Australian or Russian immigrants coming here waving their flags,disrespecting American culture, or basically making a spectacle of themselves in the media. Avoiding these things may make life for Mexican immigrants allot easier in the future.

because not many people immigrate from the US to other countries... and if they do, odds are that they're english speaking countries. even then, it's not really immigration-- they just "move".
most countries that people immigrate from don't have the luxuries that we have as north americans... so they don't focus on superficial things like race. they have bigger problems to worry about...

Legal Immigrants Suffer for the Crimes comitted by Illegals. Americans are Sick and Tired of our laws being broken with No Fear of Repercussion. And it's NOT Racism to be ANTI CRIMINAL.

Other countries are extremely racist dating back to the beginning of time. But they more recently learn the most from racist countries like the US, South Africa (Germany under Nazism) and Israel. Anyone brown is suspect. Anyone white is good.
