C'mon, think about yourself and answer honestly. The truth can't hurt. I bet many would still choose NOT to, even God showed up and demonstrated his power in whatever way you wanted him to. Would you be satisfied, or not?

If God visiable appeared before people, they would not believe. They would know. It would be a conversion of the head, not a conversion of the heart. So while it might change their opinion, it would not (have to) change their lifestyle. They still would not be "saved" or "born again" because that takes a surrender to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, not just an acknowledge that he exist.

Many would still continue to hold to their beliefs that he has not right to rule their lives, or that his will and laws are evil, or that he abuses and misuses. They might know he exist, but they would not believe in or trust in him.

I dont need God to appear before me to believe in him, I believe in him anyways.
God has done many wonders before people , I dont see how the parting of the Red Sea, could not hold peoples love and devotion to Him forever, but even after that wonderful miracle , people who witnessed that . turned against God....Incredible eh ?
And Peter denied Christ 3 times and was with him every day (that shows how much peer pressure can affect you) and of course after that He wept bitterly , and became a true and devoted follower of Christ.
Better just to have faith and pray to God , and if He decides to grant you a miracle (without you asking for it ) then what a blessing that is , Not that you can't ask for miracles , but He would like you to have faith in him at ALL times ..NOT just when disaster strikes your life.

Jesus said in the parable of Lazurus and the rich man(not really a parable)The rich man in Hades said"Let me go back and warn my brothers of this awful place" to which Abraham(from across a divide in Paradise said"Even though one would return from the dead, some won't believe"(illustrating Jesus' resurrection).
Bro,I believe and would believe but there are some that will say..."Tricks,mind games,I think the "Amazing Randy" would be one of those.

I don't know what it would take to convince me of the existence of a god, but if he's all-knowing, all-powerful, and all-loving, like the Xians claim, he not only knows what it would take, he's also capable of convincing me, and he wants me to believe so I can go to heaven.

That I don't believe is proof enough for me that he (at least the all-knowing all-powerful all-loving god of the Xians) doesn't exist.

I've stated it before.

The only way I will believe in God, is if Kate Bosworth came up to me and said "God sent me here to do you!"

Then I would believe.

Kate Bosworth can be substitutable with Evangeline Lilly.

Of course most wouldn't. Because it's happened once. If they wouldn't believe then when they saw Him do all the miracles. Notice they never denied that He did the miracles, they just accused Him of doing it by the power of Satan.

Sure.

Hell, he'd be standing right there. Hard not to believe something when the proof's in front of you.

But I need the proof.
