really there is none, the body is like.9% per liter of water. or something like that in EMS and the Medical setting we use saline sol. to replicate water that the body has lost. also the same in eye drops. saline is a natural occuring thing in the human body. Sodium has the effect of retaining water. That's why people with high BP should cut down on their intake of salt. There is usually enough in normal diet to ensure you do not dehydrate.
This is why athletes take salt tabs. They lose a lot of water while participating in their sport especially in heat
It is normally healthier to keep salt intake on the low side
