English, Russian, Spanish, a little French, Portuguese, Hebrew, Yiddish, but that is not an official language and a little Latin.
This is amazing because at one time my English teacher in High School never though I could master our own language.

I know English, Cantonese and can understand Mandarin. Cantonese was the quickest, maybe 4 months? Learned when i was 1 year old. English took maybe two years and I learned from reading books only! cuz my mom and dad are immigrants. And Mandarin I used to know because of my babysitter but then she left so I can only listen, not speak it now.

I learned English in a few years, about 1.5 and my vocabulary grew substantially from the age of 2 through my teens!
Spanish was much slower as I only took 4 years in high school. I think Cervesa is the only word I remember from that.
Italian I am much better, but not as good as English. This was due to hours of listening to CD's in my car on my 2 hour commute to and from work.
My wife also says I speak jibberish very well, but this is from her point of view so I won't count this as verified.

I started to learn English by myself, cos i like it, I looked for lyrics from songs i liked n then I translated them to my language... didn't learn it in a 100% but right now I'm studying, I'll be a French-English-Spanish translator...
I'm in the 3rd of 5 semesters, I'll get certificated in both, French and English as 2nd language =)

Danish took me 3 years. Finnish took me 3. And French took me 2 years. And English took my whole life.
And I'm working on Russian and Dutch at the moment. I'm about a year and a half into Dutch, and about a year into Russian.

One... English
Maybe someday i will try another just for fun. I think they say Spanish is easy and English is very hard to master because of the many sounds. Oh lol Chinese has over 15,000 characters. To read a Chinese paper you will need to know about 3,000!

English, French, Italian, German, Romanian & Norwegian.
I'm still working on the last five. The Teach Yourself book/CD method makes things easier but the grammer is what's so challenging.
