Im gonna start this by saying I am a believing Christian. But, as many people may think, we are not idiots. If, beyond any doubt, I believed that my religion had been disproved, I would go back to the drawing board. Not being an idiot, I have long thought about where we all came from and why we are here. So, I would continue to think about it, but under a different paradigm.

I had that happen to me. A lot of it was BS. I got kicked out anyway. Because I stopped going to service and because I moved out of my parent's house. <<<<<< I still laugh about it. So far I have not converted but I am looking at other religions. To me faith has to do with believing in GOD. He's the same for everyone. And truly all religions are spun off onto others. So that is what is holding me back from committing to another church. It's all the same. I believe in God and praying to him at home or at church is the same to me.

That could never happen. A mythology is based in faith, which cannot be disproved. If a supernatural force suddenly made itself apparent in the minds of men some would still not believe, such is the power of religious conditioning. The mythologies have already been disproved. Just go to my web site. http://oh sure/you betcha.gov.

And what would happen if tomorrow all the scientist declared the evolution was false and somebody created everything? Would you fall down and worship God? Just as logical of a question.
Christian can not and will not ever be "disproved". It is the surest fact in the universe. So the whole question is pointless.

That is why I don't follow religion. I follow Christ because you cannot prove Him wrong. The one who created the world and everything in it is certainly the only one to follow. When we venture from Him and follow the teachings of man through any organized religion we begin to lose truth and more and more mixture of error is brought into the faith. And then you certainly may find you have believed a lie. There are dozens of lying doctrines from every religion, all of them from Baptists, Catholics, Methodists, Jehovah's witnesses, Mormons and all the others. Only Christ and the Scriptures have it right.

I saw a 20/20 or a 60 minutes maybe it was, where Tammy Bakker was pleading for donations because they were down to their last 50000 dollars. This happened after their exposure and Jim was in prison.
The money come pouring in.
Is that a good enough example I hope.
People will believe anything they want to.

If you believe and practice it, then its possible to believe it and practice it. I would say just be true to what you DO believe. Maybe you are having some doubts. Figure it out for yourself. Good luck.
You could be a Unitarian and believe whatever you want. If you find a need for an organized religeon.

I personally do not have a "religion". I have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. And so you see, since Jesus is known to have lived, died, AND been resurrected, you cannot disprove the truth. Therefore, since Jesus is the Son of God and also the Word of God incarnate, my relationship cannot be disproven either.

Just what I am doing now. Gave Religion and church up at 16.
Still respect them but have no need. Social hypocrisy.

Tough question.
I assume you mean my basic faith belief. I doubt I would accept another and definitely would not continue the one disproved.
I would probably become very self-centered, self-involved and self-destructive, all the things I was before I met Christ.
