What Would You Do???

Question

What would you do if you were to find Osama Bin Laden lying critically wounded in the street.

Would you kill him?

Would you help him until the authorities arrive?

Would you turn and walk away?


Yes, hypothetically, so please don't point out to me how lame this question may be. It's just to see how people think, that's all.

djs820......a psych major?? Maybe I should have been. No, I'm just a person who has experienced more in my years than any 10 people ever do combined.

I know I said Bin Laden, but if the person in the street was Saddam Hussein, I would offer him aid, also. I would help them both.

I've lost 2 friends to Hussein. One was killed when an Iraqi missile hit the USS Stark, the other on the last day of the first Gulf War.

But still, I would have to offer aid.

This is a situation where morality & praticality share the ride. Imagine the blow it would be to the morale of terrorists to have the Big Guy in captivity! A mass murderer tried by a jury would elevate the standing of the U.S. to stratospheric heights - both morally and as a savvy nation.

To let him simply die is to assist in his "martyrdom." Sadam Hussein was schmuckified precisely because the was captured and shackled. Yes, it would be a good thing tio have the assissin who claimed he'd "never be caught alive" do the ankle-cuff shuffle on TV.

So I'd make sure he stayed alive for the festivities! Oh yes!

I would have him hospitalized and when he is well... I would turn him over to the authorities and give him a fair trial. That would be the honorable thing to do... because there are thousands of families who lost innocent children due to the actions of this merciless person. I would still give him a fair trial so that all will know the truth and so that no one will accuse each other of being one sided.

I guess I would help him until the authorities arrived. I would help him because:
1) I think that it would be the right thing to do,
2) Because I would want the authorities to have their chance at maybe saving a few lives with the stuff the guy knows.

Thats a really tough question. I honestly think that until I am in that situation then I wouldnt REALLY know how I would handle it. I THINK that I would assist him until authorities would arrive. I would take some pictures just incase the authorities covered it up, so that people would know that he was found. Plus he may have information that our govt will need. I wouldnt kill him, I would not sink to his level.

I'd call 911 and then sit down and have a long talk with him, you know the kind of talk your parents had with you when you did something bad and ya kinda wish they would have just killed you because it would have been much better?!
when the medic's got there I would explain that he was insisting that he wanted a sex change operation before going to prison. lets see if he likes being a woman.. or worse, being treated like a woman where he lives! lol!

No matter who it is i would help them. But i would try to get help b4i go near Him. U never know if he would try to get u as hostage or if he had friends near. I would call 911 immediately. Every lfie is important. Eve if it is very bad. Maybe i would be known as the girl who found Bibn Laden. Buit then i would be known as the one who was stupid enought o not kill Him. But i can't picture ever killing a human being. God would surley dissaprove.

Tuff question. I think a person would think of killing him, it would be a natural feeling after all the people that were lost because of him. I can't say I would lift a finger to help him, but I would surely call the athorities, maybe I would call the New York Fire Dept. first. .

I would get him a glass of water and a wash cloth, I would wash his face and give him water to drink, and than hold his hand and ask if he would like to say the sinner's prayer, if not I would pray out loud and ask God to have mercy on him,and to heal him I would cover him with a blanket so he wouldn't go into shock.And, I know i would be crying because life is pecious and its for living and loving.

I'd help him til the authorities arrived, and remind him I'm a Pagan all the while, and probably talk to him about what he's done in the past, and try to make him understand why it was wrong in my view, along with most other people's views, and I'd listen to his side of it, too, if he'd talk.

my first instint would be to kill him so my government would not spent 300 million trying to prosectute a man they would not put to death. But my second thought would be to aid him as the good samaritin did to the man who had been beaten and robbed. then I would indeed care for my enemy tenderly so that I might as scripture puts it... pour hot coals on his head, and at the same time obey the word of God which results in complete Joy.
