I have just found out my boyfriend of 7 months, has been doing debt collecting for the last 2 months (debt collecting in the sense of beating people up who owe money so they pay up) I have been thinking he was cheating on me, as he has been so secretive, I knew something was wrong.
I have to make a decision on if I can stay with a man who would do this, and the fact he has been lieing to me for the last 2 months about it. what do you all think? Im in a moral dilema of what I should do.
And I have asked if he would stop, and he says he doesnt know.

I don't think the job is an issue unless it really goes against everything you believe in. Are you prepared to share him with someone else? How many times? Points for honesty on his part but you have to make the choice of what you are prepared to put up with. It will always be there - it will come up everytime you have an arguement, it will play on your mind. If you feel yourself start to turn green with jealousy get out before it taints all your future relationships.

I am sorry but anyone who beats people up in order to recover debts has no respect for anyone, including women. There are other ways to earn money. as for the secrets - this is just another form of lying, I would leave.

Debt collecting is a job and if he's good at it.he makes good money, not too many ppl have the power to harass ppl. That job is VERY stressful if you aske me, but some ppl like it, it shouldnt be too much of a big deal. But if he is literally beating ppl up, leave his @$$. Women (good women) shouldnt be involved in things like that and if he's cheating, tell him BYE, BYE, BYE! You dont deserve it!

I think you should let him go....If he lied about this what else will he lie about? Guys that lie about something, they lie about everything.....What he does is very bad, and I don't think he deserves a nice girl like you.....Move on, remember there are plenty of fish in the sea.....And who knows he might even hit you one day, we never know what the other person is like, sometimes we think we know a person but the truth is, we don't! Tell him if he loves you than this has got to stop now and by now you mean right NOW not a second more of this! Tell him that this is not what you want from him and that its hurting you to see him do this. If he doesnt stop than theres your answer, his love for you is not 100 pecent and you deserve a man who will give his whole heart to you!
