OK so one sign that he still is is irritation, if he gets cranky or annoyed for no exact reason you may want to urge him to take a blood and or urine test.

I don't know how long he has been on crack for, but due to the kinds of sexual activity crackheads engage in, he should be tested for AIDS, STDs, and if you don't trust him, then have him drug-tested as well. If he hasn't been through a long-term recovery program, then chances are slim he's sober or can stay sober. It's really bad news where crackusers are concerned...I found out the hard way that they'll lie about everything and they are always just looking for a chance to rip someone off. You need peace of mind right now and you are vulnerable, being pregnant, so don't bring trouble back into your life. I'm sure he's already hurt you enough, and you deserve better.

When a person is compulsively seeking and using cocaine, despite some or all of these negative consequences, they probably are becoming a cocaine addict:
job loss
irritability
frequent mood swings
problems with work performance
frequent tardiness
absence from work
debt
physical symptoms
family problems
The physical signs of cocaine abuse can vary, depending on the person. Quite often the eyes are a good indicator of cocaine use. the person will appear wide and or bloodshot eyes and the pupils are dilated.Stimulants, like cocaine, increase heart rate and blood pressure. Cocaine users often have increase have an elevated speech pattern. Cocaine is an appetite suppressant so people who use cocaine regularly often lose weight or are not hungry at meal time. And because cocaine is powerful stimulant, people who use cocaine often have a difficult time falling asleep or suffer from disruptive, inconsistent sleep patterns.

I am a probation officer thus I have a lot of experience with crack users. He is getting really skinny and is disappearing for days at a time? Definitely still using. When my offenders start acting like that, their drug tests start coming back positive.

Signs of crack use vary, but some common ones are: always broke (Never have any money), when has money, its tightly held on to (No ice cream, movies, or pizza tonight), acts paranoid, irritable, considerable amount of weight loss, not caring about physical appearance, not eating (no appetite), in and out of the house, wearing same clothes everyday, loss of interest in personal hygiene, spotting broken lighters around, spotting chore-boy around, seeing narrow glass pipes.

not real reliable is a big sign of meth using ,would sell his arm if he could, and yes weight loss is also a factor . They also sell drug tests in stores now you could test him if he would agree but it doesn't stay in your system long like 3 days if that. Good luck we are going through the same problem with my sister and she has a 5 year old little girl.

Being a recovering crack-head I would say that unless he was in your sight for the last month dont trust him at all. He could do it while you are in the house even. They can't be trusted at all. I made one of my kids come with me while I was in the first month of recovery everytime I did anything. That was the only way I could trust myself.

He IS using and you can NEVER trust a crack head, my mom is one! It hurts, I know, but trust me, it is better to be WITHOUT him than WITH him.
