Depending on how old you are and how much you talked on the first date. If you don't know her birthday and how her career is going or where it's headed don't do it. But if you were spending the whole first date on those things then by all means go right ahead. If you are under the age of 18 also a big green light. But above the age of 18 I'd give it another date or 2 just to show her you are very interested in what she has to say, unless she offers that the movies are a good to go.

I don't think movies are great at all for a date. Unless you already know the person. Think about it, in a movie theater you are just going to be sitting next to a person (you want to know more about) in the dark saying nothing for perhaps a couple of hours. That is valuable time wasted when trying to get to know someone. Try something that allows for you's to enjoy your time together but still communicate. Good luck

I like movies so don't get me wrong. I can't think of a better idea for a date if I don't want to talk to the person for approximately 2 hours. Just a thought.

I generally don't like movies as a date idea when you're in the "getting to know each other" phase. They don't allow conversation. I guess they're good for shy people though. If you both love movies, then why not?

Sure' Just make sure you make time after the movie for some 1on1 time. Like a quiet place to eat and talk or a walk in the park etc.

Not really. you can't talk to her (and more important LISTEN to her) for two hours.
Try mini golf, a walk in the park (or walk the dog)
fly a kite..in other words do some activity with her,and most importantly LISTEN!

Yes, they're fine, although they're sort an introverted activity and don't allow for a lot of conversation. If you can afford it, a dinner before or after would be great.
