use warm water and salt (1 teaspoon for every cup of water), put some in each nostril (one at a tme) with a dropper or baby medicine dispenser. Lay down when you try this because you want it to stay in your nostril for at least 30 seconds, then swallow if it makes it down your throat, if not repeat this process until you are clear. The salt water shrinks the nasal passages and lets you breathe freely. This sounds kind of basic but try it it really does work!

My sinuses clogged up with allergies earlier this year. I used Afrin No Drip nasal spray for Severe Congestion and it totally worked for up to 12 hours.
The only downside is that it can be addictive, so don't use it when you don't need it, but when you do...it's truly a lifesaver.

Neosenephrin or some good nasal spray up the nose,
followed by lying back with HOT WASHCLOTH (wet it and nuke it briefly in microwave) hot as you can stand, spread over the sinuses.
CLEARS IT RIGHT OUT--- but temporarily.
The washcloth can be repeated.
ALSO: hot and sour soup!!!
Clears nasal passages and tastes great besides.
