I really like this guy and I think he likes me too, but I'm not sure and I don't want to embarress myself when I try to move forward a little.

I don't know why this is such a problem for so many women here.
If a man tells a woman she is attractive and asked her for a date, often he gets blamed for being too forward or aggresive. If a woman asks, there is no problem. We are allowed to say YES or NO to whatever proposition somebody might have for us. Whats the big deal, as long as somebody who hears NO doesn't persist, so what. Its a compliment, take it that way.

No pain, no gain, right? If you think he likes you, than chances are he probably does---at least a little bit. Go ahead and make the move. You can't sit around waiting for HIM to make the move on you.

Don't 'move forward' a little bit. Jump in with both feet and ask him out. If he doesn't go for it, act like you don't care one way or the other. Find a new guy.

Talk to him, smile, play with your hair all at the same time.... if he is smart with this he should know.... But if he is a little shy - sometimes you have to slap him and say I like you.....
