that sounds like a harmless cyst. They can grow anywhere, but on the chest area they look exactly like you described. I would encourage him to see a dermatologist just for a visual inspection to make sure it isn't anything else though. Better sfae than sorry, although chances are if it's been there for a long time (years) and hasn't grown or changed colors than it is probably okay. You are very sweet to be concerned about him and he is lucky to have you looking out for him!

a third nipple would not be that big. i would definatly consider the cyst theory or even possibly a broken off hair that has become infected. the pink around it is probably from stress of the skin being stretched. if it changes color or there is a red streak show up that looks like its headed for his heart you should get to the e.r. good luck.. i hope its a simple problem.

Sounds like a spider bite, possibly a Brown Recluse. Seek medical attention, the bite is too close to vital organs to neglect treatment.

It is probably the third nipple. It is quite unusual as the occurance of it is rare. A supernumerary nipple it is called.
