Dealing with in-laws can prove tricky for both, men and women. However, sharing a good relationship with your in-laws is vital. For one, if you live with them, you will be spending a lot of time with them. Secondly, they will be instrumental in instilling values in your children. Last, but not least, excessively involved or detached in-laws can put pressure on a marriage.
A good rapport with the in-laws, then, is always a boon. "It can be especially tough in the first year of marriage. But, with a mix of tact, straightforwardness and 'healthy selfishness', it is definitely possible to deal with them successfully," says Anjali Singh, a 27-year old manager with a finance company in Delhi, who has been married for three years.
First, let's look at issues that crop up and affect the wife.

There are no known point of views in handling any kind of relationships.whether wife or anybody for that matter if you understand them better then you can handle any kind of relationship.
Try to understand your In-Laws requirements, thier social behaviour, try to satisfy them in every means of possibilty, dont say no for anything, talk politely with them, try to compromise on certein issue.
You will definately feel the difference, they will start loving you like a daughter.
Remember onething In-Laws are not your enemy.
Enjoy

Stay away from them!! I had to learn the hard way!! 4th of July my father in law got up in my face and didn`t like the way I disaplined my kid. Then ask me why I couldn`t be like my wife`s x husband. I told him to F off and haven`t been over there since!! I tried for 2 years and even move closer to them and worked for then for a while but nothing they said came true and kept promising this and that but never came true. So I`m done and just like my dad said to me before he passed away( If you want to get along with your realitives stay the hell away from them!!) So I do!! And it works!! Good Luck!!

Don't let them push you around without being rude.
Stand your ground and be firm.
They do not pay the bills in your house and have therefore no right to interfere in your marriage.
