He asked for my number at the mall. He started calling me.
He asks what I'm doing for the weekend and then I say
nothing and tell him we should do something and when I
say that, he doesn't text me back. He's done this twice.
Is he interested or not?

Sounds like the poor boy has gotten cold feet. If he thinks you are a babe, he may think you don't take him seriously. On the other hand, he may be absent-minded and just forget that he has made a date to hang with you. Either way, let him decide whether to follow through or not.
Remind him he's stood you up TWICE, if he ever calls you again. Good luck!

No, he was just looking for some fun, or a confidence booster, or just out playing games. Give up on him and find someone who will respect you enough to actually call you back...and next time, find someone better than a guy at the mall.

I would say NO.Since he has been leaving you hanging.I I wouldn't bother anymore! It will be his loss. BUT... Maybe he is a Stalker or a Freak. Then again maybe he does not know the schedule of his other girlfriends.... He should tell you what is going on.

He is interested enough to call you...maybe next time tell him that you are busy that day! Perhaps he wants to be the one to ask you? I think an option is to just ask him whats up.

he's probably interested in a lot of girls and picks his favorite for that weekend, after all he wasn't shy asking for your number. real question should be why are you still intersted after he blew you off twice?
