06 and 07 both are brand new models.

I would definitly go with an older model. First off, it will give the manufacturer at least a year to make minor changes and fix flaws that may have occured during the process of making the vehicle. Second, it will save you $1500 less. Also, it will give test drivers time to review the car and make sure it is safe and everything.

they both will depreciate the minute you leave the lot. go with the 07 because the 06 will depreciate more in the next year than the 07 will. in the long run the extra 1500 is worth the money.

Cars depreciate as soon as you drive them off the lot. Might as well go with the older model. Unless there is a super huge upgrade in the newer year that is worth $1500 after market. Plus on the older model taxes and tags will be less.

06 for $1500 less. Money is usually saved if you purchase a newer used vehicle (I don't know if the 06 is used in this case) rather than a brand spankin new vehicle.

Your situation is a great example.
Peace

Well the year doesn't matter its the mileage on them unless you are looking at the trim level at same time if it has AC and radio with air bags you are good to go. The more electronic stuff you get on them the more there is to go wrong and fix.

consider:
what car has better gas mileage?
what will benefit you in the long run?
Can you afford to splurge and buy the new car?
