I have been single for many years and i just can't seem to find my special someone and I am begining to lose all hope of ever finding anyone so please help me.

just be yourself! your so young anyway. 21 is a fun age to go and do things you enjoy and meet new people. If you stress over trying to meet that perfect guy you'll drive yourself crazy! If you find new hobbies you might perhaps find someone who enjoy's the same things you do which is an easy icebreaker. I dont suggest bars or clubs. There never seems to be true connections coming from that arena! I have no idea what your into maybe a bowling league with friends or dinner parties. just have fun and relax. when the time is right your guy will come to you. I am a firm believer that there is someone for everyone! good luck and best wishes.

Ok...while I'm only 24... and I'm a guy (which means you can completely disregard my advice), I'm serious when i say this... WE ARE INCREDIBLY YOUNG! :D We have plenty of time to find the right person. The problem is that we see other people happy in their relationships, and we think we should be in the same position, but that might not be the best thing for us.
I wanted to mention this..and it might just be the way you phrased your question...so pardon me if I have the wrong impression... You shouldn't be looking for someone that likes you as a girlfriend. This kind of makes me think that you are all too cognitive of your single status when you are around guys. JUST be yourself and have a good time. Guys will enjoy being around you and they will want to date you. Just remember... that while you dont think a guy likes you...he might...and he might be too shy. keep your eyes open for any guy friends that seem to act a "little weird" around you. The odds are.... they like you.
Also another note - If a girl is single for a while..and a guy knows about it.... it makes us wonder if there is something we dont know about... like.... haha... whether or not you are straight! haha.
Bottom line.... be yourself and have a good time. If you find a guy that you like..dont be afraid to let him know. Ask him out... or flirt with him, and see how he responds.

Miracles can happen just as you are about to lose all hope! Find people who like the same things YOU do. Do you have a special hobby? Do you have time to volunteer? Do you play recreational sports? Have you ever tried singles clubs? Get out there and mingle! I am sure lots of people will find you fascinating! Go for it!

You are much to young to be thinking about giving up on finding your special someone. You need to start doing things that you enjoy and make you happy. When you least expect you will find that special someone. There is no need to rush things.

You will find someone, don't lose hope, keep your eyes open for it! Maybe go out to a club or bar and start meeting new people. You could always try looking for love/relationships online! I see commericials for match.com all the time. Alot of people found their soulmates! Hope you find someone!

Hon at 21 I'm sorry to say, you really haven't been anything for a long time let alone single. just bide your time and don't get so flustered when guys hit on you. some times when people get flustered it can scare off the other person because they often feel just as awkward as you do..
