I've written guys letters before and all they did was laugh! It's not as if my writing skills or poor or I can't spell....I just don't think they appreciated the fact that I took the time to tell them how I feel. Should I just give up altogether?Why are guys so stupid anyway?!

I think your problem is that you haven't found the right kinda guys that would appreciate love letters, so until you do, don't waste your writing skills on them! How will you know that a guy would appreciate a love letter from you? Probably he'll send you one first or would make something for you or just do anything to show you that he thought of you and spent time doing something nice for you. Those are the kinda guys that deserve the love letters ;-)

A guy that doesn't appreciate a love letter is an insensitive as*hole....Sorry for the word, but it's true.....A girl pours her heart out in a piece of paper and all they can do is laugh....I find that very depressing, I just don't get why they are like that!!! They are stupid cause that's their nature, they just don't know the importance of love or honesty! I say forget this guy, and find someone who doesn't laugh at your feelings.......Good Luck

I know how you feel and I feel the same way. I am very passionate when I write letters to the one that I love, but he always tells me that I write newspapers and that it takes him a long time to read them. The funny thing is that when I don't write for a while -- he starts missing the information. Maybe you're writing to people who think reading anything is boring or maybe they can't even read.

Sometimes they may laugh because they don't know how else to react, e.g. they don't reciprocate the feelings. Being a guy doesn't mean one has to be rough and tough all the time, one has to find the right balance somewhere between being aggressive/insensitive and being submissive/overly sensitive.
Anyway, not all guys are like that.

Most guy`s don`t want any documentation so they don`t get caught!! Others could care less about them because actions speak louder than words. Then some of the SOB don`t like reading unless it`s about Nascar or some BS like that!! Then yet others can`t freakin read anyway so I would say don`t waste your time and energy unless you know he`s going to appreciate it!!

Sorry Hun ,some guy's just don't know how to appreciate love notes. I kept everyone of my girl's notes in a shoe box, that she sent to me,even when I was in the Marines. Guys are dumb I admit it but some of us know when we have a good thing..... they are just too blind to see. Don't give up you'll meet someone who will do the same as I did for my girl for you..... you'll see.

As a stupid guy, let me try to give you some insight..........
With girls, love and romance happens more through your mind.
With guys, love and romance happens more through touch.
Venus vs. Mars stuff.
Letters probably won't do much for most guys - instead try snuggling and a warm kiss - and you WILL be appreciated.
