with my girls i just put them in underware. I let them pick there own and buy it. Then I would chow them every so often how to use the potty. They would wet them selfes a couple of times and I just said "oh you got your pritty pantys wet" And eventually they just went to the bathroom on there own. Just constantly ask her if she needs to go, like every five to ten minutes. If she understands then she will tell you yes or no. This worked on both of my girls they are 4 and 5 and do not even wet the bed.

but every child learns when they want to. good luck

How old is she? She simply may not be ready yet. After meals, before bedtime, first thing in the morning-set her on the toilet. If she pees give her lots of praise. If she doesn't just say "good try". If she pees in her underwear or diaper just say "pee goes in the potty".

My toddler refuses to sit on a little potty, but will use the big potty with one of those foam rings you set on top. She prefers Spongebob, there's also Dora. With poop, you usually see it coming and can get her on the toilet. If she's playing or distracted she may not want to stop to use the potty even if she really needs to.

You could also (depending on her age) make a sticker chart with her favorite charachters. Every time she successfully uses the potty, she gets a sticker. When she gets a certain number of stickers she gets a little prize.

Don't push her, it could actually make her regress back so it will take even longer, patience and time, have you ever seen a 10 year old NOT potty trained, She'll go potty in the toliet when she is ready, every child is different they don't HAVE to be potty trained by 2-3

blackmail normally works lol buy her a new toy that she can only play with on her potty and if she pees in the potty she gets to play with it all the time once they do it a couple of times it all clicks into place good luck hope this helps

You could try putting her straight on the toilet. Some children never get the "potty" because they know that everyone else goes on the big toilet!

But don't rush her it might be a nightmare now but I don't know any 16 year olds that aren't potty trained!!!

Good luck

Have you tried her on the big toilet with a toddler seat instead? I work at a nursery school and find that a lot of them don't like the potty as it's uncomfortable.

Forget about it for a couple of weeks and then try again. She's just not quite ready to understand.

Don't push her she will do it when she is ready. My daughter started before her 2nd bday & my son just turned three and he is so freked out by the whole situation.
