I only get embarresed from my imediate family not my extended because I don't see them that much and I just want to be with them unless I am with them alot or they do something really bad. Also one thing I really hate is when my friends leave my mom is all like see you later alligator. She used to say that when I was little but now I'm older and that is just not cool.

My sister thinks she is all that because her husband makes lots of money and they live in a large house. One of her friends lived in a much smaller, cheaper house. One day this friend told her that they only lived in that house because they hadn't found what they really wanted and now they had. She told my sister she found it in one of those homes for sale mags. When we left my sister went straight to a shop that carried those mags and looked up the house. It was a mansion and way out of my sisters range.... This woman was very low key and sweet, never let on she was a lot richer than my sister. My sister on the other hand always acted like she is all that and a bag of chips. I laughed so hard when we seen her face while she is looking at the mag. You know her friend was wise to her all along. It was funny but also embarrassing. I can't compete in the money category but I have more class then her any day.

ABSOLUTELY !! But it's not funny...I am embarrassed for I have some family members who are racially prejudice.

I think being racist or prejudice is extremely unintelligent & narrow minded. I am embarrassed to even call some of these people family !

Yes. I have very country relatives that live in rural South Carolina, and they are embarrassing. Need I say more? The fact that they're country is embarrassing enough!
