I don't know much about the Hollywood diet but it the facts that you lost 4 pounds in once day AND feel faint means that it is a short term fast, temporary weight loss thing. It probably isn't healthy for you and the weight you lost is probably water weight anyway. If you continue, you might feel worse, or you might feel better in a few days after your body adjusts. As a person who is health conscious, low carb and regular exercise has always worked best for me.

To lose weight, a person has to reduce the calorie intake by some amount by modifying their diet. A diet without sufficient nutrients will only increase the appetite of the person trying to lose weight. Since most people combine a diet with an exercise plan, additional nutrients are required for the growth of muscles required to increase the metabolic rate required for long term weight loss. You will feel ill if you try to diet too quickly, your body needs at least 1200 calories a day. Always make sure that you do not skip breakfast, have a bowl of Special K or something similar at least and maybe a piece of fruit, that way you should feel fine later.

i've tried that diet.... when i started to feel kind of icky i ate some low fat crackers (sodium free of course) to help get my blood sugar level back up.
it only takes a few crackers and you'll feel back to normal in a bit.
btw... despite the horribly tacky name... doing a body cleansing diet does have positive results, you lose weight, cleans our body of toxins (if you drink lots of water as it recommends), cleans your digestive and urinary tract, and can really boost your ego if you're really having trouble getting into that certain pair of jeans..... as long as you don't do more than once every 5 or 6 weeks and eat right and exercise the rest of the time these diets are perfectly fine.

well you dont nessecerily have to be on that kind of diet . dont do low carbs diet either. after you do the low carb diet you just come back to square one after you start eating carbs but back to the answer! if you feel faint stop the diet and just exercise a little bit each day it is way easier

it's ok i once did it too.you can't suddenly do it you have to take time.start with the easy-going diet and go higher.there is a big chance of fainting if you suddenly start exercisin for 5 hours and hardly eating

Good Luck with your goal.
You should depend more on your activity, like jogging.
